The programme is designed by the triple-accredited Grenoble Ecole de Management (GEM) and delivered at De Broc School of Business. The course focuses on modern business skills and approaches to management in order to produce the next generation of international and global managers. The MIB has been ranked 13th worldwide in the 2016 Financial Times Master’s in Management ranking.

Why this course?

This course will equip you with the necessary knowledge and skills needed to excel in the world of international business and management. You will benefit from the vast experience and skills of our tutors, who all have great links to the business industry. Class sizes are deliberately small so that you can receive a high amount of contact time, and enjoy plenty of opportunities to participate during class.

Successful applicants will study towards an MIB from the triple-accredited institution, Grenoble Ecole de Management. Triple accreditation is an honour shared by less than 1% of the world's elite business schools.

  • AMBA (Association of MBAs) – UK accreditation body
  • EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) – EU accreditation body
  • AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) – USA accreditation body

Who is this course for?

The MIB course is ideal for individuals keen to broaden their business knowledge and develop their managerial skills with an international perspective in mind. Students will usually aspire to work in a top-level role within a multinational organisation.

What will you learn?

The MIB is a challenging and intensive, but highly rewarding programme. During the first year, you will cover core management principles from an international perspective, revisiting all of the essentials of international business. Your second year will be devoted entirely to the International Management Project.

You will have the opportunity to undertake an internship or work full-time whilst carrying out your project – which can be conducted from anywhere in the world. You will also have the opportunity to study a foreign language.

Course structure

The programme is a comprehensive examination of general management topics, studied from an international perspective. There is a strong focus on knowledge and skills required by managers in both private and public sectors internationally. Core management techniques are analysed and approached from different perspectives to understand their application on a global scale.

Foreign language skills are essential to succeed in business today, and this programme offers the opportunity to learn an additional language. The programme requires a full time commitment from students during the first year of study, but is followed by a period of up to one year to complete the Final Management Project. Students can work on this project from anywhere in the world, whether taking on an internship, full time employment, or utilising the full time available to complete the project.
