This specialised programme combines vital business and management skills with an in-depth understanding of the principles of the fashion, design and luxury sectors. This degree is awarded by the triple-accredited Grenoble Ecole de Management (GEM), and delivered at De Broc School of Business. You will visit Italy in addition to the taught modules in London, exposing you to two world's major fashion and design centres.

Study Trip

  • One week study trip to a fashion capital (Italy)

Study Trips

Students will take part in an international study trip of one week in one European Fashion Capital. They will have the opportunity to meet with leading industry professionals and visit companies in the fashion, design and luxury industries.

During the company visits students will work on a project relating to one of these industries and in alignment with their future career ambitions.

Internship

Each student will undertake an internship of a minimum of three months in a company of their choice at the end of the classroom part of the programme. The internship will contribute directly to the content of the Final Management Project and may take place anywhere in the world.

Final Management Project

The second year of the programme is dedicated to the Final Management Project which will be undertaken under the supervision of a professor. The Final Management Project is completed remotely and you are not required to be present on campus. 

Students will focus on a management aspect of the fashion, design and luxury industries; they are also encouraged to choose the subject of the Final Management Project in coherence with their future career goals. It is possible to complete the project in parallel with an employment or an internship in the UK or abroad. Please note that students will already need to have working rights within the EU.

Students who graduate from this degree may consider the following options if they wish to continue their studies:

• Chartered Management Institute’s (CMI) postgraduate qualifications

Entry requirements

• Undergraduate degree at 2:1 or equivalent (e.g 60%) from a recognised university (assessed by GEM admission board)
• GMAT is not an obligatory requirement, but is considered an advantage and may be required for some applications (target score 550)
• Only UK and EEA students can apply for Grenoble courses

English proficiency options:

• TOEFL – 94 (22 minimum in each component)
• IELTS - 6.5 (6.0 minimum in each component)
• PTE - 63 (51 minimum in each component)
• Cambridge Proficiency Exam: A, B, C

Grenoble MSc Fashion, Design and Luxury Management is not eligible for Tier 4 sponsorship under the Point Based System. You may be asked to participate in an interview. You will be notified if an interview is necessary after the Admission Board meets.
