De Broc School of Business is introducing the Lord Blunkett Widening Access Award scholarship, which is now available to eligible students applying to begin their studies in September 2017.
The scholarship is designed specifically to support aspiring business leaders irrespective of their background or personal circumstance. De Broc will offer a total of ten eligible students starting in September 2017 £1,000 off of their course fees – five undergraduate and five postgraduate students.
To be eligible a student must have applied to study at De Broc School of Business and received an offer to begin their course in September 2017, as well as have had a household income of less than £25,000 in the tax year 2015/16.
“At De Broc School of Business we believe that every future business leader should have the opportunity to achieve their ambitions,” says Rona O’Brien, National Director of Business Programmes for De Broc. “That’s why we’ve started the Lord Blunkett Widening Access Award; to ensure those considering a business degree are not put off by the cost.”
The deadline for applications is Tuesday 5 September, and the award winners will be announced on Monday 11 September. Full information on the Lord Blunkett Widening Access Award can be found on the undergraduate and postgraduate scholarship pages.
