What can I do in London?
What can’t you do in London? London is one of the world’s most exciting cities, and Bloomsbury is one of London’s most vibrant areas – you can experience the West End's nightlife or take a trip to Covent Garden and Soho.
London food is truly global, so you’ll easily find a pub, bar or coffee shop to suit your mood. Theatre, cinema, galleries, music, museums, festivals – the nation’s capital has it all.
London has excellent public transport links, which makes exploring all the capital has to offer easy. Alternatively, if you fancy some sea air, Brighton is not too far by train - or be inspired by Oxford’s dreaming spires. Paris and Brussels are also just three hours away by Eurostar!
If you want to exercise your body as well as your mind, there are plenty of opportunities at London Bloomsbury. Popular activities have included zumba, football, netball, rugby, and tennis.
Clubs and societies
At the beginning of your course, you can run a society, club or event of your choice - or join an existing one. A range of parties and balls are also organised for Bloomsbury students throughout the year, including a Freshers’ Party, Holly and Mistletoe Party and End-of-Year Ball. Plus, there’s always The College Arms Pub next door for some liquid refreshment. In addition to the more energetic sports and fitness activities, clubs and societies at Bloomsbury have recently included a Toastmasters group, chess and also a Music society.
